Before accepting the prestigious UCSI Scholarship award and earning her Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from UCSI University, Ai Jia was nurtured from a young age by none other than her own mother—a seasoned piano teacher. From playing in cover bands to being a piano accompanist for exams, competitions, and even musicals, her diverse experiences have shaped her into a truly versatile musician.


Ai Jia completed her ABRSM grade 8 Piano exam at age 13. However, she stopped playing after the exam because of the pressure to finish the graded exam. Thankfully, fate intervened, leading Ai Jia back to her true calling, reigniting the flame of passion that continues to burn brightly within her today. This personal experience has cultivated a deep understanding of the struggles students may face, making her an empathetic and supportive teacher. 


Ai Jia's lessons are a perfect balance of enjoyment and discipline, tailored to each student's needs. Her lessons encompass a diverse range of musical genres, from pop, classical to jazz. She believes communication between students and teachers is important and learning music should always be fun.

Ann 

Be inspired by Ann, a passionate music educator who embarked on her musical journey at the tender age of 5. Since 2017, she has dedicated herself to nurturing students of all ages, igniting their love for music, and guiding them towards their full potential.


Ann's pursuit of excellence led her to achieve a first-class Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts (Classical Piano) from the prestigious University of Malaya. Her extensive training and expertise serve as a solid foundation for her teaching methods, which she continuously modifies and improves to suit the unique characteristics and personalities of each of her students.


She understands that everyone possesses a distinct musical journey, and she is committed to guiding them on a personalized path to success. Going beyond mere technique, Ann aims to cultivate a deep appreciation for music in her students, nurturing their aural skills and fostering a holistic understanding of the art form.
Having grown up in a church environment and actively participated in music composing bands during her university years, Ann has gained invaluable experiences and insights into the collaborative nature of music. Chun Weng

Meet Chong Chun Weng, a maestro of the keys and a harmonious virtuoso. Chong's musical journey took root at UPM, where he honed his craft. His melodious odyssey reached crescendo as he earned his Master of Music in Piano Performance at Miami University.


Chong is no stranger to the world's stage, having graced audiences as a piano soloist, a chamber music maestro, and an orchestral bassoonist across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. His talents know no bounds, and his musical soul knows no borders.


When not enraptured by the keys, Chun immerses himself in the enchanting realm of orchestral harmonies, wielding the bassoon with finesse alongside renowned ensembles such as the Miami University Wind Ensemble, National Symphony Orchestra (NSO), Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO), and more.


Chong's passion for music education knows no bounds. He once kindled the flames of musical learning as a piano instructor at Miami University, and now, he eagerly shares his wealth of knowledge and overseas-acquired skills with a broader audience. He is an enthusiastic guide for his students, a torchbearer for the cause of music education in Malaysia.


Driven by his diverse experiences, Chun seeks to impart the sheer joy of performance to his students. He continually explores innovative teaching methods to ignite students' interest and nurture proper piano techniques, recognizing that every aspiring pianist has their unique musical journey.

Jia Xin

Jia Xin, a seasoned music educator with a decade of teaching experience, invites you on a musical journey that began when she was just four years old. Her passion for music led her to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with a specialization in Piano. This comprehensive education refined her piano skills and deepened her appreciation for music's transformative power.

Jun Ling

Since his graduation in 2011, Jun Ling has been a beacon of musical enlightenment. His classrooms resonate with the melodies of budding talents, spanning from the tender age of four to seasoned enthusiasts. Jun Ling is more than an instructor; he's a creator of musical experiences. Crafting bespoke materials and innovative tools, he ignites creativity in his students, nurturing not just technical finesse but also the soul of music.


His teaching goes beyond notes; it's a symphony of solfege singing, relay playing, and duet harmonies. His goal is not just effective education but also time-saving approaches, offering a delightful path of trial and error, cultivating self-confidence. While fundamentals are vital, Jun Ling's pedagogy emphasizes the paramount importance of nurturing music creativity.

Lawrence

Prepare to be captivated by Lawrence Chiu Peng Chong, a multi-talented flutist and clarinetist, who breathes life into every note he plays. With a passion for music that knows no bounds, Lawrence has been sharing his musical expertise since 2016, teaching a diverse range of students from children to seniors. 


As an active performer and composer, he is enthusiastic about sharing a wealth of knowledge, skills, and techniques that he has acquired from his mentors and his own musical endeavors accumulated over the years. 


Currently a member of the esteemed Philharmonic Winds of Malaysia, he has also graced the orchestras and ensembles of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Penang Philharmonic Orchestra, Sunderland Symphony Orchestra, Jesselton Philharmonic Orchestra, Bede Winds, KLPAC Symphonic Band, Zephyr Flute Ensemble, The Band Lab, and many more. His performances are a testament to his remarkable talent and unwavering dedication to his craft, leaving his indelible mark on the stage.


With a strong educational background from the University of Sunderland, UK, Lawrence firmly believes that music is a life-enriching experience. He holds the belief that music knows no boundaries of age or skill level, and its power to uplift and inspire is universal.

Lee On

Get ready to be amazed by the multi-talent of Lee On, an electric, acoustic, and classical guitarist. With a Bachelor's Degree in contemporary music from UCSI University, where his mastery of the electric guitar took center stage. Lee On's journey in the world of music is nothing short of awe-inspiring.


As a founding member of the bands 'BASCON' and 'Cyanus,' Lee On achieved remarkable success, winning the renowned Yayasan Sime Darby Battle of The Bands competition. He also showcased his versatility at international events and Malaysian Piano Jazz Festival.


In addition to his performances and teaching, Lee On also delves into the music production world. With his expertise in jingle writing and audio production, he has created mesmerizing compositions and arrangements for various projects. 
With a warm and nurturing approach, Lee On's teaching style radiates with passion and dedication. He strongly believes that patience and perseverance are key solutions to achieving your goals. With an 'Accuracy Over Speed' mindset in check, students who acknowledge their realistic capabilities are often able to push their boundaries overtime through consistent and accurate practice.

Ling Hui

Get ready to embark on a harmonious journey guided by Ling Hui, a passionate piano instructor with seven years of teaching experience. Her musical odyssey began at the tender age of four, and since then, she has devoted her life to the art of piano.


Besides earning a Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) Piano Recital in 2017, Ling Hui's dedication to her craft led her to excel academically, she holds a Bachelor of Music from the University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2020, Her outstanding commitment and talent were further recognized when she was awarded the prestigious title of "Best Performance/Highest Mark Achiever" in 2022.


Being an active figure in piano competitions, Ling Hui was awarded a gold medal and an outstanding award in Hong Kong International Youth Performing Arts Festival (HKYPAF) and a bronze medal in Euroasia Piano Competition in 2017. 


She is an active collaborative pianist who offers accompaniment for instrumentalists and vocalists. On top of that, Ling Hui also performs in several Master Classes together with well-known pianists from Hong Kong, Thailand, as well as a pianist /professor, Professor Richard Omrod from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, United Kingdom.


As an instructor, Ling Hui's stage experiences enable her to guide students to newfound confidence in their performances. She imparts not only piano playing techniques but also a deeper understanding of music. With a commitment to professionalism, she leads her advanced students to excel in their musical pursuits.

Lydia

Lydia, a remarkable pianist and educator, brings over a decade of passion and expertise to the world of music. With a solid foundation built over eleven years of dedicated practice and guidance from private instructors, Lydia's musical journey reached new heights when she pursued a Bachelor of Music, specializing in Piano Performance, at the prestigious University of Melbourne.


Throughout the academic tenure, Lydia had the privilege of being mentored by luminaries in the field, including the distinguished Professor Ronald Farren Price and the accomplished Dr. Kenji Fujimura.


Lydia's teaching journey spans more than five years, including a transformative three-year tenure at Melbourne's renowned Vivace Music Academy. Her dedication to music education shines as she has skillfully nurtured students aged 5 to 30, guiding them through the intricacies of ABRSM, AMEB, and diploma exam syllabuses.


A strong advocate for building a robust technical foundation, Lydia draws upon her classical background to meticulously tailor lessons to each student's unique requirements. Her teaching philosophy is firmly rooted in igniting a profound love for music, delivered with inspiration and engagement.

Min Yan

Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Music from UCSI University, Lee's talent knows no bounds when it comes to playing the piano and violin, from classical compositions to contemporary pieces.


Through countless captivating performances at various venues across Malaysia, Lee has mesmerized audiences with every stroke of the keys and every bow on the strings. One particularly unforgettable moment was a breathtaking duet at the prestigious Royal Selangor Kuala Lumpur.


Lee's passion doesn't end with performing. As a systematic and dedicated music educator, Lee believes in creating a fun and engaging learning environment that nurtures students' musical growth. Each lesson is meticulously planned and tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of each individual student, ensuring maximum productivity and progress. Phay Yee

Step into the world of music with Heng Phay Yee, the heart and soul of Little Atelier Music. As the founder and a dedicated piano teacher, Phay Yee brings over 15 years of enriching experience in the art of piano instruction.


Holding a Bachelor's of Music from the University of Westminster, London, Phay Yee possesses both the academic knowledge and the practical expertise needed to guide students on their musical journey. 


Besides teaching classical piano and music theory, she also has experience teaching contemporary piano. She believes that creating engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of each individual student is essential. Her teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in music theory and technique, while also encouraging students to explore different musical styles and genres while also emphasizing the importance of practice and technique.


Phay Yee's teaching philosophy goes beyond the notes on a sheet. She understands that teaching is not merely about imparting information; it's about fostering a love for music that will last a lifetime, fostering creativity, and nurturing each student's unique potential. She believes that every student has the potential to succeed and are committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters growth and development. 

Vivian

Vivian's enchanting musical journey began at the tender age of 4, a testament to her early passion kindled by her parents' musical influence. She embarked on her musical odyssey at Yamaha's Junior Music Course (JMC), a journey that would shape her future in music. Vivian's dedication and talent were evident as she graduated with a remarkable Grade 5 Yamaha certificate by the age of 14.


Her musical pursuits didn't stop there. At the age of six, she delved into private piano and violin lessons, setting the stage for her future career in the world of melodies. Vivian's formal education embraced both ABRSM and Trinity College syllabi during her early years. However, it was her remarkable journey at the Malaysia Institute of Art (MIA) that truly transformed her into the musician she is today. She earned her Diploma in Classical Music in 2013, a testament to her unwavering commitment.


With 12 years of valuable experience, including specialized training for children with learning disabilities, she specializes in child development, focusing on language, technical skills for muscle development, active music appreciation, solfeggio singing, fine motor skills, concentration, and goal-setting. She firmly believes that early exposure to music profoundly impacts a child's growth and development.
